Westfield Broward Mall Partners With South Florida Miami SCLC For TeenSensation Live Clean Music Competition

February 11, 2020 staff No Comments Uncategorized

The Miami SCLC a nonprofit 501c3 organization is pleased to present South Florida’s Teen Sensation Live Competition now in its 7th year with our new branding partner the Westfield Broward LLC.

We are. proud to hold one of our live auditions in the beautiful county of Broward, South Florida. The Broward Mall has some of America’s top branded shops, food eateries and movie theaters all under one roof.

As a valued member of our community, we would like to invite you to be a part of the South Florida Teen Sensation Live 2020 events which culminate on Saturday, May 16, 2020. Teen Sensation Live (®) is a singing/hip hop competition specifically geared for teens ages 14-19 years old. The competition provides the platform for teens to showcase their talent, gain industry knowledge and the opportunity to be seen by A&R scouting for new talents. Studies have shown that kids who are involved are more likely to succeed academically, as opposed to kids who aren’t.
It is our hope that they will use this opportunity to (a) gain life lessons (b) stay focus on learning and developing their craft and their individuality and (c) will eventually find success in the industry if that’s their goal and to ultimately become productive citizens in their respective communities.

To this end, we have partnered with industry professionals to include celebrities who provide weeks of valuable coaching and life skill sessions, and with notable organizations and events across South Florida which provides a wide range of exposure for the teens to showcase their talent. Each year the competition invites a prestigious list of judges from the music and entertainment industry who determines the act that moves on or is eliminated until one Grand Prize Winner is voted on at the finals. The Grand Prize is
$10,000 which we hope will help one lucky teen to realize his or her dream and eventually make a difference.
Over the years we have seen success in our winners, in that some have gone on to college and graduated, another went on to compete on the popular TV Show ‘The Voice’ making it to the top two and is now singing and performing professionally, one was signed by a record label and has since released several
singles that is enjoying airplay locally and nationally, while another has enjoyed writing songs for a popular British Pop Band and has also toured extensively across the US.

We are looking for leaders like Westfield Broward Mall, local businesses and organizations to help us make this free event truly impactful for the teens and our community. As a community leader, your involvement would help in highlight the importance of recognizing and cultivating young talent and the joint opportunities that come out of the opportunity to work together to make a difference.
